Who are we
SYNERGY SELECTION LTD is a recruitment company providing introductions between candidates and potential employers. We provide permanent and temporary recruitment services to clients looking to recruit personnel for their businesses.
We are based in 1 Cornhill, London, EC3V 3ND 0207 965 4733 and was established in 2001 by Aston Sinfield.
Our registered address is First Floor Stanmore House, 15-19 Church Road, Stanmore, Middlesex, HA7 4AR.

Where we Collect Data from you
We collect personal data about yourself through various channels:
-Job boards
-LinkedIn
-From yourself the candidate. This could be verbally or emailed to us
-Your website
-emails
-CV’s you have provided to us
-Word of Mouth/Reference. A friend/colleague may recommend you.

This data provided is used in the process to help you find a job and continue our relationship with you once you have found a job.

What Data we collect
The following data maybe collected:
-Your contact information, Name, email address, postal address and telephone numbers, Date of Birth.
-Information you provided on your CV
-Companies you have worked for.
-Job titles
-Salary remuneration
-Information you have provided on career interests.
-Education qualifications and Educational Establishments
-By Reference or word of mouth. For example, you may be recommended by a friend, a former employer, a former colleague.
-If required by employers, we may collect additional data such as:
◦Nationality
◦Passport
◦Work visas
◦Employer references
-All data is collected and processed in compliance with all applicable legislation

We do not share any personal data with a third party without your explicit consent.

Where we store your data 
Your personal data is stored on a secure database, and in email systems (outlook) all of which is on secure, password protected PC’s and are only accessed through employees of Synergy Selection Ltd.

Why and how we use your Data - Candidates
We use your data you supply on your CV to send to potential employers. CV’s are submitted with the following omitted:
-your address
-telephone number(s)
-email address
-Date of Birth
If you are chosen by the client and go through to the next stage we will then be collecting more information from you at the interview (or equivalent) stage and onwards in that manner.
Your data is only shared with the client who has initiates the search.  
You have the right not to provide us with your data

How we use your Data – Clients
We require your contact details or the details of individual contacts at your organisation (such as their names, telephone numbers and email address), to enable us to process job applications.
We use information about you, or individuals at your organisation, in the course of providing you with candidates who are interested in working for your organisation, who match vacancy criteria and a good fit for your organisation.

Your Rights
Under the new legislation GDPR gives the individual:
The right to be informed - You have the right to be provided with clear, transparent and easily understandable information about how we use your information and your rights. This is why we’re providing you with the information in this Policy.
The right of access - You have the right to obtain access to your information (if we’re processing it), and certain other information (similar to that provided in this Privacy Policy).
This is so you’re aware and can check that we’re using your information in accordance with data protection law.
The right to rectification - You are entitled to have your information corrected if it’s inaccurate or incomplete.
The right to erasure - This is also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’ and, in simple terms, enables you to request the deletion or removal of your information where there’s no compelling reason for
us to keep using it. This is not a general right to erasure; there are exceptions.
The right to restrict processing- You have rights to ‘block’ or suppress further use of your information. When processing is restricted, we can still store your information, but may not use it further.
We keep lists of people who have asked for further use of their information to be ‘blocked’ to make sure the restriction is respected in future.
The right to data portability - You have rights to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services. For example, if you decide to switch to a new provider, this enables you to move, copy or transfer your information easily between our IT systems and theirs safely and securely, without affecting its usability.
The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to certain types of processing, including processing for direct marketing (i.e. if you no longer want to be contacted with potential opportunities).
The right to lodge a complaint - You have the right to lodge a complaint about the way we handle or process your personal data with your national data protection regulator.
The right to withdraw consent - If you have given your consent to anything we do with your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time (although if you do so, it does not mean that anything we have done with your personal data with your consent up to that point is unlawful).

We usually act on requests and provide information free of charge, but may charge a reasonable fee to cover our administrative costs of providing the information for:
-baseless or excessive/repeated requests, or
-further copies of the same information.

Alternatively, we may be entitled to refuse to act on the request.

Please consider your request responsibly before submitting it. We’ll respond as soon as we can. Generally, this will be within one month from when we receive your request but, if the request is going to take longer to deal with, we’ll come back to you and let you know.

Policy Changes
We reserve the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy without any prior warning. Any changes we make to the privacy policy in the future will be posted on our website and are in line with EU/UK law
